Event: Interest in Discussion on Critical Language Awareness and Writing Center Work

I am forwarding information below about Critical Language Awareness (CLA) and Writing Center Work, excerpted from Shawna Shapiro’s CLA collective message.

  1. I’ve heard from many of you who are Writing Center administrators/staff, who would like to be able to have more sustained dialogue around the relevance of CLA to WC work.

Susanne Treiber, the WC Director at Madison College (Cced here), has created a Google form to start to pull together folks who are interested, and to collect some possible topics.

Once meeting dates are set, I’ll try to pop in if I can, just to listen and learn, as I think WC folks do such important and impactful work at their institutions!
