Job: Associate Director of Awards and Fellowships, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Prescott, AZ or Daytona Beach, FL)

We are beginning to review applications—interested parties should apply ASAP!

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is excited to be hiring an Associate Director of Prestigious Awards and Fellowships. The Associate Director will join the Office of Prestigious Awards and Fellowships, which has built a strong reputation for itself since its establishment in 2019. This position, which will ideally be based at the university’s residential campus in Prescott, Arizona, offers the opportunity to work with students at a leader in aerospace and aviation higher education. The new Associate Director will have the opportunity to lead recruitment and advising for 4-6 award opportunities per year, manage a team of fabulous student workers (you can see their work on our Instagram account), and will have dedicated professional development funds annually.

Why pursue this position?

· You’ll have the opportunity to work with outstanding students who are literally doing rocket science and design.

· This position is designed to help you grow. If there are skills you’re looking to develop or strengthen, you’ll be able to do that, with support for your training and development.

· Embry-Riddle is thriving. It’s consistently named one of the Great Colleges to Work For. Moreover, it gives you the opportunity to work at three institutions in one—a small residential STEM campus, a medium-sized campus that’s increasing its research activity, and a large online campus with students literally spread throughout the globe. We also have a really solid benefits package.

· Prescott is a fun city! The area abounds with opportunities for outdoor recreation, especially hiking. It’s close to ghost towns, Sedona, and other uniquely Arizona destinations. As the biggest city in its area, it’s also home to modern conveniences you might not expect, like Costco, In-N-Out Burger, and Trader Joe’s.

You can find the job posting here. We are eager to hire someone, but we also want it to be the right person. If you or someone you know is interested in the position, please reach out to Dr. Brittany Davis..
