Hi Folks,
The WAC Repository, a publication of the WAC Clearinghouse and the Association for Writing Across the Curriculum, is pleased to announce the release of a new collection, TextGenEd: Teaching with Text Generation Technologies. Edited by Annette Vee, Tim Laquintano, and Carly Schnitzler, this digital collection addresses generative AI, perhaps the most influential technology in writing in decades. TextGenEd features 34 undergraduate-level assignments to support students’ AI literacy, rhetorical and ethical engagements, creative exploration, and professional writing, along with an Introduction to guide instructors’ understanding and their selection of what to emphasize in their courses.
Thanks to Annette, Tim, and Carly for their work on the collection, and to Lindsey Harding and Lee Nickoson, who lead work on the Repository. Thanks as well to Ming Fang, Lauren Garskie, and Jackie Kauza, who edit the Repository with Lindsey. The WAC Repository is a growing set of resources on diverse topics of interest to members of the writing studies community.
You can find TextGenEd at https://wac.colostate.edu/repository/collections/textgened/ and the WAC Repository at https://wac.colostate.edu/repository/.
All the best,
Mike
