The Department of Writing & Rhetoric at the University of Mississippi is excited to invite you to the annual Transitioning to College Writing Symposium. TCW focuses on bringing together K–16 educators for the purpose of supporting teachers of writing throughout Mississippi and the surrounding regions.
This year’s event, titled "Writing For Wellness: Creating K-16 Writing Cultures to Support Students’ Social, Emotional, & Academic Success," will take place Friday, October 20 on the beautiful UM Oxford campus. Our schedule includes a strong slate of presentations from teachers across institutions and grade levels, and keynote speaker, Laura Micciche, will share her expertise in SEL and writing instruction.
