Dear Colleagues,
Rhetoric of Health and Medicine journal is excited to announce a new CFP for a special issue on rural health. “‘Down Home, Down the Street’: Examining Rural Health in the Rhetoric of Health and Medicine” will be co-edited by Justiss Wilder Burry (Tarleton State University), Melissa Stone (Appalachian State University), and Gabriela Ríos (University of Colorado Boulder). Potential themes for the issue include: defining rural health, public health, health awareness, health education, infrastructural challenges, and researching in rural communities.
For this issue, the editorial team welcomes research articles, as well as proposals for persuasion briefs, dialogues, commentaries, and review essays. The full CFP is attached to this announcement and can also be found at rhm.journal.editors.
