The Online Writing Centers Association invites you to join us for a webinar titled “Writing Center Services Beyond the Tutorial” presented by Dr. Khadeidra Billingsley and Dr. Sarah Huffman
Date & Time: Thursday, October 19th, 2023 at 3:00PM – 4:00PM ET
While writing centers are often considered synonymous with one-on-one tutoring, many centers offer additional services to support writers, including mechanisms to spur students’ motivation to write. In this webinar, Dr. Billingsley and Dr. Huffman will discuss innovative support structures for student writers that they have integrated into their respective writing centers. Attendees will reflect on what services they might implement in their own centers to support particular writer populations.
This premium event is free to current OWCA members and costs $5 for non-members.
