Dear Writing Center Colleagues,
We invite you to submit a proposal for the upcoming Southeastern Writing Center Association (SWCA) Conference, hosted by Emory University in Atlanta on the theme of "Writing Center Movements." The deadline is now November 8, 2023: https://southeasternwritingcenter.wildapricot.org/conference.
Our CFP asks participants to investigate how Writing Centers and writers are moving, to where, and with whom. You could address, for instance, moving between modalities and genres, outreach and partnerships on and off campus, or the academic and professional movements of writers and administrators, and/or you could discuss how your centers engage with social and political movements. You are encouraged to interpret our conference theme in creative ways, through multimodal, interactive, actionable, and collaborative sessions.
We look forward to hearing about your work and ideas, and we hope many of you will join us in Georgia from February 22 to 24, 2024.
