Event: Colorado State University Presents “WAC Week”

i Folks,

A quick clarification and a correction. The times are all for the Mountain time zone (two hours earlier than Eastern and one hour later than Pacific).

Apologies,

Mike

Hi Folks,

Starting this coming Monday, November 6th, the WAC Program at Colorado State University is hosting a series of workshops focused on helping faculty enhance student learning, engagement, and success. WAC Week—a celebration of writing across the curriculum, one of the original high impact practices—will focus on how faculty can use writing assignments to deepen students understanding and ability to apply course content. Topics will range from WAC basics, such as strategies for designing assignments and responding to student writing, to the use of multimodal assignments and generative AI to the role WAC can play in promoting inclusion and social justice.

All workshops will be presented on Zoom and will be available for later viewing. Since these sessions will be on Zoom, I thought it would be appropriate to let folks know that they’re welcome to join us.
