Job Description
The Department of Languages, Literature and Philosophy invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor of Rhetoric and Composition. The start date for the position is August 11, 2024 (Note: Date listed on website is a typo. 2024 is the correct date). Potential specializations include multicultural rhetorics, public rhetorics, digital writing, writing across the curriculum, and technical and professional writing. The selected candidate will enthusiastically contribute to our first-year writing program, and engage in scholarship, research, and service.

Minimum Qualifications
PHD in English or related doctorate required for appointment as Assistant Professor. Transcripts must include at least 18 hours of graduate English courses. ABD considered. Required: strong commitment to and background in teaching general education writing and a demonstrated potential in scholarship and research.
