The 2024 Writing Innovation Symposium, Writing Human/s, is going to be tremendous, with flashtalks, workshops, posters, and displays by colleagues from across the country and the world: Washington state to Washington, D.C. and Sonipat, India!
It’s not too late to apply to participate. Specifically:
- Applications for Bedford/St. Martin’s Fellows are due 12/1. Learn more by reading Bits Blog posts by Darci Thoune and Jenn Fishman as well as 2023 Fellows Holly Burgess and Abigayle Farrier.
- The extended due date for poster and display proposals is 12/15.
- The due date for undergraduate flares, 3-minute audio- or video-recordings, is also 12/15.
WIS ’24 takes place 2/1 and 2/2 both online and onsite in Milwaukee, WI. Hotel and registration info will be available shortly. Anticipate the former to run approximately $125 with tax (inclusive of local shuttle service); the latter will vary from $25 to $125, inclusive of refreshments and some meals.
