ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF STUDENT SUCCESS
The Office of Academic Programs at Colorado College invites applications for an Associate Director of Student Success starting in Summer 2024. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Student Success, the Associate Director will coordinate and integrate existing offerings at the College, including a required first-year seminar and first-year writing seminar, a first-year mentor program, and a sophomore co-curricular program. This new position presents a unique opportunity to design and implement a pre-major student pathway that integrates the curriculum and co-curriculum to improve retention and provide a transformational experience for all students. The candidate will join a team of accomplished scholar-practitioners committed to bridging theory and practice through teaching and applied research and scholarship to support student success.
Skills You Bring:This position is an opportunity to build a holistic student program that integrates the curriculum with the co-curriculum to improve student outcomes. Candidates should have some combination of experience in leading or teaching in a first-year seminar or writing program; academic advising or mentoring; or in an academic success or academic support unit. Experience in all three of these areas is not required. Because this position works across campus, the successful candidate will value liberal arts education and have experience working directly with students, faculty, and staff.
