Hello!
I write on behalf of the Conference Planning Committee organizing the University of Connecticut’s Nineteenth Annual Conference on the Teaching of Writing. We are now accepting proposals for this year’s conference, taking place in Storrs, CT on Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20th, 2024. Proposal submissions are due [new extended deadline ] February 5, 2024 and can be submitted through our Conference Proposal Form. We are thrilled to be hosting Dr. Aja Y. Martinez as this year’s keynote speaker (Saturday, April 20), who will also run a teaching workshop with Dr. Robert O. Smith on Friday, April 19, 2024.
We invite proposals that consider our conference theme “Counterstories, Co-Conspirators, and Composition.” Drawing on the rich history of counterstories in Critical Race Theory we hope to make use of FYWConference with any questions! CC alejandra.leos for the quickest response.
