Hello writing center folks,
We are accepting applications for open Officer positions on the Online Writing Center Association (OWCA) Executive Board and have extended the deadline to May 16th.
Serving on the OWCA Executive Board is a great opportunity to develop/hone administrative skills, while giving back to the writing center community. All new Board members receive mentoring and support.
Open Positions
You and/or your staff can apply for any of the following open positions:

- Virtual Events Co-Chair
- Conference Co-Chair

Terms for all positions begin June 2024. The extended deadline to apply is May 16th.
Who Can Apply
Anyone can apply, including students, individuals who are not currently employed at a writing center, and individuals who are not currently OWCA members.
Please note that individuals who are elected must be or become OWCA members to accept the position and serve their terms. We offer low-cost memberships for students, and memberships at no charge for people of color.
