Hello everyone,
The UCI Center for Excellence in Writing & Communication is currently accepting applications for our new Graduate & Postdoctoral Writing Coordinator position. This position will report directly to the Director (me) and is primarily administrative, though there will be opportunities to work directly with writers in consultations. The Graduate & Postdoctoral Writing Coordinator is responsible for the hiring, training, and professional development of our Graduate Writing Consultants, developing, coordinating, and leading programming supporting writing and communication needs for UCI’s graduate student and postdoctoral scholar population, and developing collaborations and partnerships with a wide variety of relevant campus units (Graduate Division, School of Nursing, UCI Libraries, etc.).
The position requires being on-site most of the time but does allow for a small amount of remote work time (up to 10 hours per week). We plan to begin reviewing applications starting Monday, May 13, but will most likely accept applications through the end-of-day on Friday, May 17.
