Survey: Synchronous Online Consultation Survey

The UNLV Writing Center is conducting a research study of synchronous online consultations and their corresponding training offered by writing centers across the globe. Synchronous online consultations can be defined as any consultation session that is run synchronously in a virtual medium.

We are looking for writing center administrators or staff involved in the training or management of writing consultants. Your writing center does not have to offer synchronous online consultations for you to participate.

Participating in this research involves filling out our Qualtrics survey linked below. The survey will take about 20 minutes to complete. Our aim is to investigate trends in synchronous online consultations and training.

To participate in the study, please click here to fill out our Qualtrics survey.

This survey is uncompensated and has minimal risk for participants. No personally identifiable information will be collected, and any response that provides identifiable information will be de-identified. You may exit the survey at any time.

For questions regarding the rights of research subjects, any complaints or comments regarding the manner in which the study is being conducted, contact the UNLV Office of Research Integrity – Human Subjects at 702-895-2794, toll free at 888-581-2794 or via email at IRB.

For questions or concerns about the study, you may contact Dr. Erin Zimmerman at erin.zimmerman or 702-895-5378.
