The English & Modern Languages Department at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona invites applications for a tenure track appointment starting in Fall 2025. We are seeking an Assistant Professor in Rhetoric and Composition.
Teaching will include undergraduate and master’s courses in rhetoric, writing studies, and multimodal literacy, as well as GE courses in FYC, critical thinking, and the humanities. This role will also support writing program, college, and campus initiatives related to WPA, WAC/WID, and writing center work.
Cal Poly Pomona is located about 25 miles east of Los Angeles. It is an HSI and one of 3 polytechnic campuses in the California State University system.
