CFP: Journal of Peer Tutoring in Secondary Schools

Dear writing center friends,

The Journal of Peer Tutoring in Secondary Schools (JPTSS) is hoping to receive submissions from peer tutors, writing center directors, university students, and/or researchers for our upcoming issue 5.1, to be published in April 2025.

The deadline is September 15, 2024 and pieces can be submitted here.

The call for proposals is open to topics, themes, experiences, and reflections rooted in secondary school writing center experience and research. We are accepting submissions for the following article types:

"Voices from the Center" Narratives

Suggested Length: 1,000 words
Section Editor: Amber Jensen

Tutor Articles

Suggested Length: 2,000 – 3,500 words
Section Editor: Rebecca Shields

Practitioner Articles

Suggested Length: 2,500 – 4,000 words
Section Editor: Heather Barton

Research Articles

Suggested Length: 4,000 – 6,000 words
Section Editor: Jenny Goransson

Book Reviews

Suggested Length: 1,000 words
