Call for Future Authors of Effective Practices that Support IDEA
GSOLE Calls for Applications for the “Open Resource:Effective Practice” IDEA Innovator Award.
Authors interested should propose an IDEA-oriented teaching practice that online writing instructors could use to make their classes more inclusive, diverse, equitable, and/or accessible (IDEA) for Effective
Practices. We especially encourage applications from members of marginalized or underrepresented communities. The GSOLE IDEA Innovator Award includes a stipend of $350. Effective Practices articles are relatively short, usually five pages or so. We also use a submission form that is designed to make the article writing process as streamlined and efficient as possible.
