CFP: Special Issue of College English on Consent

A new CFP for a College English special issue guest edited by Sam Phillips, Violet Livingston, me, and Timothy Oleksiak is out!

“Informed Refusals: Theories, Pedagogies, and Methods for Imagining Consent in English Studies”

We are interested in including perspectives from within English Studies, Rhetoric and Writing Studies—including WC’s, as well as community-based scholars who are thinking about how consent can shape the ways we do our work.

Check out the CFP here and please pass it along to others https://ncte.org/resources/journals/college-english/cecalls/ On the CE page, if you scroll down to the dropdown menu called "Informed Refusal," you will find our call. Deadline for submissions is October 25.

Also, we’re having an info session this morning at 10am EST on Zoom. You’re invited to join us to chat about your ideas and our vision for the issue!

Welcome! You are invited to join a meeting: College English Guest Editor Information Session. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email about joining the meeting.
