Dear colleagues,
The Georgia International Conference on Information Literacy (GICOIL) has extended the call for proposals through November 1st.
Please consider submitting a proposal for or planning to attend the Georgia International Conference on Information Literacy (GICOIL). GICOIL is a peer-reviewed conference that brings together writing instructors and librarians to engage with issues related to information literacy. This year, the theme of the conference is Embracing Change and Pushing Boundaries. The conference will be held in Savannah on February 7-8, 2025 and offers reduced registration fees for graduate students. Proposals are now due November 1, 2024.
We are particularly excited about returning to an in-person conference format this year, where we’ll have an opportunity to engage with one another face-to-face again. We will be holding the conference on the Armstrong campus of Georgia Southern University, on the southside of Savannah.
You can find out more about the conference and read the call for proposals at https://www.georgiasouthern.edu/academics/ce/conferences/infolit/
Hope to see you there!
