Job: Georgia Tech Technical Communication Lecturer in Computer Science

Dear Colleagues,

I’m happy to pass on this job ad for a Technical Communication Lecturer in the School of Computing Instruction (SCI) at Georgia Tech. While I’m not on the hiring committee, I work closely with SCI and would be happy to discuss working at Georgia Tech generally.

As noted in the ad, primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to providing high-quality undergraduate teaching, primarily within the technical communications component of the College’s capstone design program. Opportunities to teach graduate courses are also available, as candidates will be matched to courses for which they are the best fit. In addition to teaching, there will be an expectation to participate in service at the School, College, and Institute level. Candidates are also encouraged to engage in scholarship and curriculum development. As part of its budget, SCI earmarks funding for these sorts of activities and makes it available to faculty.

You can direct specific questions about the position or SCI to the search committee via email: dci-recruiting.

Best,
