Greetings!
The Global Society of Online Literacy Educators is excited to announce its spring 2025 professional development offerings! We understand that online instructors need time, support, and guidance to excel in virtual classrooms, and we’re here to provide just that.
Eight asynchronous courses are designed and facilitated by experts in online writing instruction for online educators in secondary writing courses, first-year writing programs, technical writing courses, writing-intensive disciplinary courses, or reading/writing tutoring centers or studios. Each month-long course delves into OLI theory and scholarship, guiding you to create an OLI artifact that demonstrates your ability to apply theory to practice.
Choose courses that match your interests, or aim for the Basic OLI Certificate by completing all eight courses and an OLI ePortfolio—to complete the Basic OLI Certificate, take all 8 modules back-to-back to earn certification in a year, or take your time with up to three years access to courses. Discover more about our flexible registration options on the GSOLE Certification and Professional Development Course webpage.
