Dear Coalition Members,
As chair of the Conference Committee for the Coalition of Feminist Scholars in the History of Rhetoric and Composition, I’m writing to invite your proposals to host the 2027 and 2029 Feminisms and Rhetorics Conference. You can read the Call for Hosts and review sample proposal at pthomas1).
CFSHRC is committed to enacting antiracist, inclusive and accessible conferencing practices. To assist local planning committees toward these ends, in 2020 the CFSHRC established a Coalition Conference in which members of the Coalition membership provide assistance and advice to local hosts. Our committee is eager to help folks who are interested in hosting think through inventive conference possibilities. We are especially excited to help proposers think through options for regional conference sites, collaborative hosting, and other options that best serve a range of localities.
