Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for full-time, non-tenure track faculty positions as Lecturer of Interactive Design in the Department of Technical Communication and Interactive Design with a preferred start date of August 2025. These are nine-month contracted positions. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
A commitment to excellence in teaching and service to the university, department and/or discipline is expected of all non-tenure track faculty. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Teaching undergraduate courses (e.g., 5 in the Fall semester, 4 in the Spring semester) in a range of classes that might include: prototyping, user interface design, visual design, the Adobe design suite, and/or front-end development. Faculty at KSU teach face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses.
- Service to the Department and the Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences related committees, the ability to attend events related to the degree, and potential outreach to the local Atlanta professional design community.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
