Hello list,
I am seeking responses to a survey that gathers some information about the writing practices of writing teachers. Any and all teachers of courses in writing studies, from basic writing to graduate courses in composition pedagogy and from professional and technical writing to multimodal composing, are invited to respond.
I anticipate that the survey will take no longer than 15-20 minutes to complete. The survey consists of 33 questions, with 18 multiple choice questions and 15 text response questions. The latter are there for providing additional responses to the multiple choice questions. The survey is completely anonymous: none of the questions will gather identifying information.
You can find the survey here. If any of you are willing to respond, I’d be very grateful.
I will initially use responses to this survey for an upcoming presentation at the Conference on College Composition and Communication on Friday, April 11 at 8 AM–Session F.9. (Just a little plug in case you want to see the results from the survey.) I will also use these responses in any future writing projects that emerge from this study.
Once more, babbjs.
Additionally, thanks to all of you who volunteered to be interview participants in my study on faculty writing when I posted that call back in January. I am grateful to all of you who make this kind of research possible.
Thanks,
Jacob
