Dear colleagues,
Apologies for cross-postings. As CCCC in Baltimore approaches, I want to remind attendees, on behalf of IWCA, about several happenings that may be of interest to writing center folks:
The IWCA Collaborative@CCCC is being held on Wednesday, April 9 on the University of Maryland Baltimore campus. The Collaborative is an interactive, hands-on day of workshops, roundtable discussions, and research/writing activities. Registration is open until this Friday, April 4 and includes access to all sessions, plus breakfast, lunch, and an evening reception. To register, log into our site here: https://iwcamembers.org/ (or create a free account if you are not a member).
- IWCA’s open business meeting will be held on Thursday, April 10, from 6:30-7:30 PM in meeting room 301. Come to meet board members and learn more about getting involved with the organization.
- IWCA’s sponsored panel is Friday, April 11 from 2:00-3:15 in meeting room 311 and features presentations from recent research grant recipients Isabelle Lundin, Janine Morris, and Sarah Kugler.
- I also encourage you to check out all the sessions in the writing/speaking center category being held throughout the convention, which are compiled here.
- Many thanks,
- Maggie
