I’m happy to announce that Texas Tech University’s May Seminar is the recipient of the 2024 Janice M. Lauer Institutional Achievement Award in Rhetoric & Composition Doctoral Studies! This award, sponsored by the Consortium of Doctoral Programs in Rhetoric & Composition (CDPRC), recognizes institutional innovations that enhance doctoral education and student development in the field. The May Seminar, a three-day intensive workshop that gives online Technical Communication & Rhetoric doctoral students the opportunity to collaborate with peers and faculty face-to-face, exemplifies the spirit of the award, created to honor Lauer’s legacy of innovation and institutional collaboration.
