I am excited to invite submissions to a new companion resource at the Journal of Multimodal Rhetorics: MULTIMODAL + JUSTICE + ACTION (MJA). This practitioner-focused site aims to highlight the essential work teacher-scholar-activists are doing at the intersections of multimodality, pedagogy, and social justice.
Submissions may include original
Course designs
Annotated course syllabi
Assignment prompts
Assessment instruments
Curricular (re)visions
Community workshops
Other relevant genres
Submissions must meet or exceed the accessibility standards of JoMR.
Submissions are collected on a rolling basis with anticipated publication happening twice a year, or in conjunction with partnered special issues at JoMR. I am currently compiling the first issue and plan for publication in the late summer. If you are interested in being part of the first issue, please inquire and/or submit by mid-May.
