Hello colleagues!
Jennifer Burke Reifman (San Diego State University, jburkereifman) and Stacy Wittstock (Marist University; stacy.wittstock) are writing to ask for your help in recruiting participants for our study focused on students’ understanding of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and LLMs (Large Language Models). Specifically, we are interested in understanding student narratives around AI and writing in writing classrooms.
In this IRB-approved study, we are asking that students respond to a brief survey and then indicate interest in participating in undergraduate-researcher led focus groups. If you’re interested, we’re also happy to share the responses from students at your institution at the close of our research—you can let us know by responding to this email or emailing us individually.
We are hoping that you might send the attached message and survey link to instructors in your program and ask them to forward it on to their students, or send this message directly to students yourself if possible (see below).
We thank you for your consideration. Please let us know if you have any questions!
