We have a position open for a TT Assistant Professor of English/WPA at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, NM. Start date is August 2025. 3/3 teaching load which reflects a reduction of 1 course per semester to direct the First-Year Writing program and coordinate the minor in Technical and Professional Communication.
Teaching assignments will include upper- and lower-division as well as graduate-level courses in writing and rhetoric, including Pedagogy of College Writing, Visual Rhetoric, Grant Writing, and similar courses. Courses may be offered in-person, hybrid, or online. The candidate is expected to provide training for writing program faculty and mentor graduate students in the composition program.
