CFP: Online Undergraduate Research Showcase hosted by Fan Studies Network

Greetings!
On behalf of Fan Studies Network North America, I am delighted to share the CFP for the 2025 Undergraduate Showcase, an online conference and mentoring opportunity for undergraduates. Please share widely with your students; as a rhetorician, I would love to see more student writing focused projects submitted.
Fandom, the community or individual practice of being a fan, is something many students participate in daily and perform scholarly work in. They create projects based on fanfiction and genre, rhetorical analysis of specific fandoms, or track trends in other fan works.
The call for papers is wide to accommodate multi-disciplinary approaches and student interests, with topics including the aforementioned projects to the ways COVID-19 has changed internet culture/fandom.
To accommodate all levels of undergraduate scholars, we’ve created free workshops for poster design, practicing paper delivery, etc. for participants. Further, as an online conference, we are committed to accessibility and affordability.
Submissions are due Friday, May 16.
Additionally, if your scholarship falls within fandom studies, consider proposing your own work to FSNNA’s main conference,Oct 23- Oct 26.
If you or your students have questions, you can email fsnna.conference or contact me at rjd6188

Thank you for the consideration,
Renee Ann Drouin
