The Global Society of Online Literacy Educators invites you to join us for the final webinar of the academic year! This event, free to members, will feature presenters Daniel Lenz and Megan Eberhardt who will discuss "Empowering Tutors and Faculty to Equip Students with AI Literacy for the Writing Process."

This webinar explores the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in undergraduate writing instruction, guided by the metaliteracy framework. It examines pedagogical strategies for using AI to enhance writing feedback and revision processes, fostering AI literacy among students, and promoting self-directed learning with AI as a reflective writing tool. Interactions will include a Panel Discussion of writing tutors (Q&A) to engage attendees in a dynamic discussion with AI-literate tutors and faculty on effective AI usage in writing instruction, differences in AI interaction based on student familiarity, and strategies for developing students’ AI literacy. The webinar will demonstrate real-world applications of AI as a reflective tool at each phase of the writing process, showcasing adaptive approaches and their impact on student learning.
