Greetings from the really cool cats of the CCCC Second Language Writing Standing Group!
We are inviting proposals for featured speakers and roundtable facilitators focusing on advocacy for linguistic justice and multi/translingual support to speak at our Sponsored Workshop in 2026. Please review the CFP and submit a proposal by Friday, May 9.
We welcome proposals from all, including graduate students, tenure track, non-tenure track, staff, administrators, independent scholars, two- and four-year colleges, Minority Serving Institutions, writing centers, centers for teaching and learning, research and teaching universities, US and international universities, and beyond. Priority will be given to proposals centered on non-US contexts and languages other than L2 English acquisition.
We are also soliciting feedback on the day that works best for our members and guests. Please respond to our poll regarding a preconvention (Wednesday) or postconvention (Saturday) workshop if you’re interested in attending.
