Dear colleagues,
FORUM is currently seeking additional reviewers for its publication.
FORUM: Issues about Part-Time and Contingent Faculty is a peer-reviewed publication concerning working conditions, professional life, activism, and perspectives of non-tenure-track faculty in college composition and communication. It is published twice annually (alternately in CCC and TETYC) and is sponsored by the Conference on College Composition and Communication. Faculty and scholars from all academic positions are welcome to contribute.
Reviewer responsibilities include:
- Reviewing no more than two submissions per issue cycle (twice per year)
- Responding to editor emails and communication regarding feedback deadlines
- Providing timely reviewer feedback based on those deadlines to meet set publication schedules
- Providing clear and detailed feedback according to the publication’s guidelines
We ask that reviewers be current or retired faculty members within the field of rhetoric and composition studies, with some experience in field-based part-time and/or contingent labor. Additionally, we ask that reviewers do not currently have a submission under review with FORUM.
If interested, please contact bainka with the title “FORUM Reviewer” in the subject line.
Thank you for your time and consideration of part-time and contingent voices within scholarly discourse.
Best regards,
Kimberly A. Bain, Ph.D.
