Nominate: Volunteers for CPTSC Member at Large

Dear CPTSC Members,

The CPTSC Executive Committee has an unexpected opening for a new “Member at Large” to replace the current member who had to leave the Executive Committee unexpectedly. In keeping with past practices and our bylaws, the new member will be appointed by the Executive Committee. The Member at Large position is a full voting member of the Executive Committee and as such attends the monthly meetings of the EC and votes on issues and proposals before the Committee. Members at Large also primarily assist with the planning of the annual conferences. If you are appointed by the EC, you will serve out the current term and then have the opportunity to stand for election for another two-year team should you choose to do so.

If you would like to volunteer to be considered for this position, please make sure that your CPTSC membership is up-to-date, and email tharon before June 15. In your email, please include a brief description of your involvement in the CPTSC and why you are interested in serving as a member at large. Your message doesn’t need to be long, but give the EC members enough information so they can understand why you should be appointed.

Sincere thanks for considering this opportunity and for providing this important service to our professional community.

Tharon Howard

CPTSC Immediate Past President
