  • TESOL Research Professional Council In-Focus Colloquium
    • We are calling for proposals for a research colloquium themed Empowering TESOL Educator-Researchers in an Era of GenAI. The submission deadline is July 25th, 2025. Questions and inquiries should be directed to Christina Kitson at kitson.

  • TESOL Second Language Writing Interest Section (SLWIS) Academic Session
    • If you are working on projects related to self-regulation and autonomy in second language writing, please consider submitting a proposal to our planned academic session at the 2026 TESOL International Convention & Expo. The submission deadline is July 28th, 2025. Questions and inquiries should be directed to Ali Yaylali at ali.yaylali.

  • Second Language Writing Research Symposium for Graduate Students
    • TESOL SLWIS is organizing the inaugural Second Language Writing Research Symposium for Graduate Students to showcase L2 writing-related research conducted by graduate students and help them make connections with like-minded peers around the world. Though this year’s colloquium is themed The Use of AI in the Second Language Writing Classroom, we welcome proposals on all topics related to L2 writing (broadly defined!). The submission deadline is October 15th, 2025. Questions and inquiries should be directed to James Riley (JReducation) and/or Fatemeh Bordbarjavidi (bordbarfj).
