Utah Valley University’s Department of English & Literature is seeking a dynamic and dedicated one-year, non-tenure-track faculty member to join its team. Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications

· An earned master’s degree in English or a closely related field, from an accredited college or university.

· A minimum of three years of successful teaching of English at the college/university level.

· Online teaching experience and willingness to obtain online certification through UVU Office of Teaching and Learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Evidence of successful teaching of first-year composition

· Ability to manage, motivate, and evaluate students.

· Ability to teach both face-to-face and online classes effectively.
