I write to share some news and announcements about the upcoming 2025 IWCA/NCPTW joint conference in Cincinnati OH (October 15-18), which I hope you will consider attending!
Registration: Early registration rates are still available through August 15, so we encourage you to register now if possible. Starting on the 16th, prices for in-person attendance will increase by $50. Register at https://www.iwcamembers.org/ by logging in (members) or creating a free account (nonmembers).
Virtual Conference Day (New this year!): In light of the budget cuts and travel concerns that many folks are currently facing, we are holding a virtual-only conference day on Wednesday, October 15. Registration for this virtual conference day only is $50 for an individual and $100 for a group (ex. your entire writing center staff!). Note that these prices will not increase after Aug. 16. The registration process is same as above.
Hotel: Rooms at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza are available at a group rate of $195/night. Book here or call 1-800-HILTONS and refer to group code 903 by Sept. 24.
