Utah State University is accepting applications to our Master of Technical Communication program for fall 2026 admission (due February 10). Please help us spread the word!
We are also hosting a virtual open house for you to learn more about our graduate programs (whether MTC or PhD) at 4-5pm Mountain Time on Friday, November 14. Please register for the virtual open house here before Nov 13.
In the Master of Technical Communication (MTC) program, you will
- Gain valuable industry skills in user experience design, digital writing technologies, visual communication and document design, audience-centered communication, design for accessibility, and professional editing.
- Pay the same tuition whether you live in Utah or out of state.
- Complete the degree fully online: asynchronous online classes only; no thesis or major project required.
- Learn from faculty with diverse expertise: game studies, accessibility and disability studies, rhetorics and ethics in AI, global and transnational technical communication, technical communication in health and medicine, and cultural and gender studies.
