AWAC’s Mentoring Committee is excited to announce the date for our November 2025 AWAC Reads article discussion.
AWAC Reads is a reading group that aims to create a space for collegial conversation about WAC and writing scholarship. Both AWAC members and non-members are welcome to participate! (Not yet an AWAC member? Click here to learn more.)
What article we reading?
For the November 2025s AWAC Reads, we are reading the article "Writing Circles in STEM: Why Structured Peer Review Engages Students as Writers, Thinkers, and Collaborators in Their Discipline," written by Kramer, Williams, Zeccardi, and Rose and published in Across the Disciplines.
When is the discussion?
Our synchronous conversation on Zoom will take place on Thursday, November 13, at 12pm ET (11am CT, 10am MT, 9am PT). If you are interested in participating in the live talk about the article, please sign up here: https://forms.gle/8Rxstqc6wRX1R162A
Whether you have time to read the whole article deeply or simply give it a skim, please join us regardless! We welcome your contributions and conversation.
Links for the Zoom meeting will be distributed via email a few days in advance of the meeting date.
