Greetings everyone,
I hope you all had a restful holiday week/weekend!
I am writing with the call for the 6th issue of Center Moves: A Peer-Reviewed Archive of Tutor Training Materials. This archive houses peer-reviewed lesson plans and materials that administrators and tutors can use and modify for training in their centers.
We have two guest editors for this issue, Jennifer Marciniak and Becky Bruning from Texas Tech University, who are inviting submissions on topics related to tutors who work with graduate student and post-doc writers:
- Topic 1: Training tutors to work with long term research projects
- Topic 2: Training tutors to work with academic job market materials
- Topic 3: Training tutors to address lower-order concerns in graduate writing
The full CFP is attached and can be found along with the submission form on the Center Moves homepage.
Proposals are due January 15, 2026. All submissions will undergo a peer-review process before being accepted for publication. The issue will be published in October 2026.
We look forward to receiving your submissions! Reach out to Jennifer (jennifer.marciniak) or Becky (rebecca.bruning) if you have any questions.
Thanks!
