We are delighted to announce the publication of the fourth issue of the Revista Latinoamericana de Estudios de la Escritura (RLEE). The journal is endorsed by the Latin American Writing Studies Association (ALES) and is published biannually by The WAC Clearinghouse. RLEE accepts submissions year-round of articles up to 8,500 words in English, Spanish, or Portuguese. We consider empirical research on writing at different stages of the lifespan, both within and outside educational institutions, and with diverse research methods.
While the journal is rooted in Latin America, we welcome submissions from scholars globally whose work aligns with our aims and scope, regardless of the research’s geographical location. We receive submissions year-round, but are currently welcoming submissions for our first 2026 issue. The deadline for publication in Spring 2026 is January 15th, 2026.
