Nominate: CCCC Offices

Elected leaders play an important role in guiding the Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC). Serving in an elected leadership role with CCCC is a meaningful way to grow as a leader, advance your career, and contribute your time and expertise to the profession.

CCCC is now accepting nominations for 2026 elected leadership positions. All CCCC members are encouraged to nominate themselves or a colleague who may be interested in serving in the position of Assistant Chair, Executive Committee member, 2026 Nominating Committee member, Accountability for Equity and Inclusion Committee member, or Committee on Disability Issues in College Composition member.

If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved with CCCC, there’s never been a better time. Complete the 2026 elections nomination form by February 18 to nominate yourself or a colleague who can make valuable contributions in one of these open positions.

CCCC 2026 Program: In Memoriam

At each CCCC Annual Convention, the organization honors members who have passed in the last year through a dedicated space in the event program. If you know of someone who should be included in the 2026 CCCC Annual Convention in memoriam page, please inform us by Wednesday, January 7.

Volunteer for CCCC Parliamentarian

The CCCC Executive Committee is seeking a volunteer to serve in the role of Parliamentarian. The Parliamentarian is a nonvoting member of the Executive Committee who ensures that official CCCC meetings are run in accordance with Alice Sturgis’s The Standard Code of Parliamentary Procedure.

The Parliamentarian serves a three-year term, staggered with previous and incoming Parliamentarians. The term for the Parliamentarian selected in 2026 begins Monday, December 21, 2026, and concludes in December 2029. The incoming Parliamentarian will be invited to attend the CCCC Executive Committee meetings throughout 2026 to shadow the current Parliamentarian and learn about the structure of CCCC meetings.
