2026 CCCC Annual Business Meeting
The 2026 CCCC Annual Business Meeting will take place Friday, March 6, from 4:45–6:00 p.m. ET during the 2026 CCCC Annual Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. All CCCC members are encouraged to attend.
Members who wish to attend the business meeting virtually must register in advance. Zoom connection information and materials will be sent prior to the meeting.
Members at the Annual Convention in Cleveland should attend the business meeting in person (Room 307 A, Huntington Convention Center). Those registered for the CCCC 2026 Livestream will be able to access the meeting through the event platform.
Submit a Resolution for the Annual Business Meeting
The Chair of the 2026 CCCC Resolutions Committee urges all members who care deeply about key external and internal issues that bear on the teaching of writing and communications to compose resolutions that can facilitate our collective efforts. Proposed resolutions will be considered for presentation at the Annual Business Meeting. The signatures of at least five CCCC members are required for each proposed resolution. Proposed resolutions, with these signatures, should be emailed to the CCCC Resolutions Committee at cccc by February 18. Previous resolutions can be found on the CCCC website.
Volunteer for CCCC Parliamentarian
The CCCC Executive Committee is seeking a volunteer to serve in the important role of Parliamentarian. The Parliamentarian serves a three-year term, staggered with previous and incoming Parliamentarians. The term for the Parliamentarian selected in 2026 begins Monday, December 21, 2026, and concludes in December 2029. The incoming Parliamentarian will be invited to attend the CCCC Executive Committee meetings throughout 2026 to shadow the current Parliamentarian and learn about the structure of CCCC meetings. To nominate yourself for this role, please complete the application form by February 18.
2026 CCCC Election Nominations Needed
CCCC is now accepting nominations for 2026 elected leadership positions. All CCCC members are encouraged to nominate themselves or a colleague who may be interested in serving in the position of Assistant Chair, Executive Committee member, 2026 Nominating Committee member, Accountability for Equity and Inclusion Committee member, or Committee on Disability Issues in College Composition member.
