Attached is a call for proposals to host the 2029 Writing Research Across Borders conference. Please feel welcome to urge people you know at institutions worldwide to consider drafting a proposal. WRAB is held under the auspices of the International Society for the Advancement of Writing Research (ISAWR), which is dedicated to ensuring representation of writing scholars and research around the world. Previous conferences have been held in Santa Barbara, CA (2008), Fairfax, VA (2011), Paris, France (2014), Bogota, Colombia (2017), X’ian, China (canceled because of Covid and held online in 2021), Trondheim, Norway (2023), and (upcoming) Sydney, Australia (Dec. 2026).
