Declining enrollment. External stakeholders focused on ROI and “efficiencies.” Misaligned strategic investment risk causing reduction or elimination of those who are committed to the shared values of higher education. The pressures we face are many and exhausting. In this session, we will share what we’ve learned from these challenges, from navigating internal institutional pressures to doing “sneaky advocacy” with legislators and state boards. Our hope is to use this session as a space where we can connect, share, strategize, and build coalitions as a community to build resilience and continue advocacy.
