Job Summary:
Bucknell University seeks a Writing and Teaching Consultant to support faculty staff and students in our three colleges. A Writing and Teaching Consultant supports the Bucknell Writing Program through two major avenues: faculty development and learner-centered work with students. Faculty development efforts include conducting writing across the curriculum (and related pedagogical) workshops as well as one-on-one consulting with faculty on course design and their own professional writing. Learner-centered work with students includes one-on-one and small group tutoring, conducting workshops on writing, and training and supervising a corps of approximately 30 peer tutors.

Writing & Teaching Consultants work as a team in managing the operations of the Writing Center and supporting the Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) Program.
