Event: Save The Date: Stitch & Spin at CCCC on 3/6 at 7:30 in The Loft

On behalf of the Handcrafted Rhetorics SIG, Sound Studies and Writing Collective, SJAC (Social Justice at the Convention) Committee, and LAC (Local Arrangements Committee), we invite you to join us for another Cs Stitch & Spin, a craft slam and record nite extravaganza on Friday, March 6, from 7:30-9:30pm in The Loft, Atrium 4th floor. Refreshments will be provided!

This event is part record nite, with a collaborative playlist you’re welcome to contribute to (http://bit.ly/4C26playlist). The other part of the event is a craft slam – you can make zines, quilt squares for the Feminist Caucus quilt, or bring your own crafting supplies. We will also have a slew of materials available for use. Join us in enjoying music, crafts, and food together!

If you’re interested in getting more involved, we are looking for volunteers to help support the event, such as setting up and cleaning up, with most shifts at only 15-30 minutes. Write your name or make a comment here to sign up to volunteer: Stitch & Spin Roles.

Finally, for more information and to stay up-to-date on event details, bookmark https://handcraftedrhetorics.org/4c26/. Feel free to share widely (see attached flyer), and bring friends! No pre-registration is required, just come on by!

We look forward to seeing you in Cleveland!
