We would like to invite you to participate in a research study on digital research ethics within the fields of rhetoric, composition, and technical writing.
This research study has been reviewed and approved by the Institutional Review Board for the Protection of Human Subjects (IRB) at both the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) and Millikin University.
In order to participate, you must be 18 years or older and be a graduate student, faculty member, or independent scholar working within the field of rhetoric and writing studies.Participation in this research is completely voluntary. You may choose not to participate without penalty.
As a participant, you will be asked to complete an online survey which should take about 10 minutes to complete. All survey responses received will be treated confidentially and stored on a secure server. However, given that the surveys can be completed from any computer (e.g., personal, work, school), there is no guarantee of the security of the computer on which you choose to enter your responses. As a participant in this study, please be aware that certain technologies exist that can be used to monitor or record data and/or websites that are visited.
