Colleagues,
The Writing Center at James Madison University is searching for two open faculty positions: an Associate Director (primary leadership for the Writing Center) and a Disciplinary Writing Coordinator. Both positions are full-time, 10-month instructional faculty lines (with summers off!) that provide consulting, administration, and training in the Writing Center and teaching in a relevant academic department. Our Writing Center is housed within the Learning Centers (a unit within Academic Affairs), which includes four other tutoring and supplemental instruction programs and is staffed by a team of 14-16 faculty and administrative staff, along with over 100 peer educators.
JMU is a great place to work in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
